My Everyday Makeup Routine
I’m sharing my everyday makeup routine and products with you!
Let me be real for a second. I am an all or nothing type of makeup girl. I am either going to GO for it and do an entire face or makeup. Or I am going to be bare faced with moisturizer and lip balm on. Since moisturizer and lip balm does not usually serve a look I am going to outline my makeup routine instead.
Foundation: Bare Minerals - BarePRO™ Performance Wear Liquid Foundation - The coverage is medium and it’s easy to build depending on how much coverage you are wanting. Bare Minerals is also a wonderful product line if you have sensitive skin like me. Very non irritating and it does not make you break out. I blend my foundation in with a damp beauty sponge.
Concealer: Lancôme - Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer - Switching gears from medium coverage this concealer is FULL coverage and I am obsessed with it. I have never met a product that covers under eye circles better. The consistency is thick and very opaque so nothing is going to show through. This blends into skin best with a damp beauty sponge.
Bronzer: Benefit Cosmetics - Hoola Matte Bronzer | or | Physicians Formula - Butter Bronzer (in the color: Bronzer) - TBH I like the Hoola Matte Bronzer more, I find the color payoff to be more noticeable and last longer (probably why its $30). I kept hearing the hype about the Butter Bronzer and wanted to give it a shot, next time I would get the darker bonze color for a deeper looking tan.
Blush: Glossier - Cloud Paint (in the color: Dusk) | or | Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush (in the color: Paaarty) - I like orange toned bronzers but would recommend both of these brands for long wear and ease of application.
Highlighter: Physicians Formula - Butter Highlighter (in the color: Champagne) - Do you want to glow? Do you want to GLOW?! Well this is the best highlighter for that! This golden highlighter is always my go to for some major shine that is easy enough for everyday wear.
Colorful: Anastasia Beverly Hills - Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette - This is my most used palette over the past year. I have a soft spots for the warm orange and brown tones that are especially great. If I am ever feeling funky I also use the pinks and red tones for a bright pop of color.
Neutral: Too Faced - Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette & Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette - These are my go to for a nice neutral look. I like that they offer both a matte and shimmery option depending on your personal taste.
Blues & Smoky: Laura Mercier - Editorial Eye Palette Intense Clays - If I am ever wanting a really intense eye look I reach for this pallet. These apply best with your fingers over a brush as they are a thick clay like consistency. This has bright blues, grey and black colors perfect for a nighttime party look.
Cream Shadows: Laura Mercier - Caviar Stick Eye sticks - I know cream eyeshadow is not everyones’s cup of tea but these could easily change your mind. They are super easy to apply and don’t crease or move around on the eyes. I love to take one or two of these with my on vacation for a super easy to apply eye look.
Anastasia Beverly Hills - DIPBROW™ Pomade - Anyone who has been into a Sephora has probably brought one of these dipbrow products. I like the pomade because it lasts forever and I can apply it with a angled brush for precise control.
Glossier - Boy Brow (in the color: brown) - The hype around this product is REAL! I have tried a lot of brow gels and nothing can ever live up to this. This formula is build-able and has wonderful holding power throughout the day.
Lash Primer: Mary Kay - Lash Primer - This is always my first step in my mascara routine. I think Primers really do work in making your mascara pop and perform their best.
Luxury: Lancôme - Monsieur Big Mascara - I got a sample of this in a Sephora Play Box and fell in love. It is build-able and makes your eyelashes super intense with both length and volume.
Drug Store: L'Oréal - Voluminous Million Lashes Waterproof Mascara - I am a waterproof girl all the way and this is my favorite drugstore mascara of all time. I love the plastic brush that evenly applies the mascara to every single lash.
